About the rental plan
How does the rental work?
Choose a 3, 7 or 14-day rental at checkout and pay for the period you pick, from £199. We ship it to you and you post it back with the prepaid label and bag when your rental ends.
How long can I rent for?
Rent for 3, 7 or 14 days. Start short to try it, book a longer rental when you're ready or ask us about rent-to-buy.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is free on 7 and 14-day rentals. A flat £25 applies to 3-day rentals. Everything arrives within 5–8 working days across mainland UK.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Cancel at least 7 days before your rental start date and you'll get a full refund, no questions asked. Inside 7 days, get in touch and we'll do what we can, though we may not be able to refund in full.
Can I move my rental dates?
Yes. Let us know at least 3 days before your booking starts and we'll move it to new dates free of charge. Plans change, trips get postponed; just tell us as early as you can.
How do I return it?
We send a prepaid return label and bag. Drop it at any Post Office and keep your receipt, that's it.
Can I buy one after renting?
Yes. If you decide to keep it, we'll take 15% off the purchase price, just ask our team while you're renting.
Are you really the only company that rents these?
As far as we know, yes. We haven't found another UK service that rents walking exoskeletons rather than selling them; if you find one, tell us.
About the exoskeleton itself
How heavy is it?
1.8kg. You'll forget you're wearing it within a few walks.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 25km or roughly 5 hours of assisted walking on a single charge. Charges fully in 2 hours.
What size do I need?
One adjustable size fits waists 28"–44". We've built it to accommodate most adults without needing variants.
Is it waterproof?
IPX4 rated, fine in rain, not designed for river crossings or submersion.
Is it right for me?
Who is it designed for?
Easy Stride is made for active adults who want to take the strain out of walking, hills and long days on their feet. If you have any health concerns, it's always sensible to check with your own doctor before you start.
Can I wear it over my clothes?
Yes. It goes straight on over your normal trousers and clips into place in under 90 seconds.
What if it isn't comfortable?
It should feel natural. Get in touch and we'll help you adjust the fit. If it still isn't right, send it back and we'll make it right.
Is there anything that would stop me using it?
Yes. Easy Stride isn't suitable if you can't stand, balance and walk unaided, if you're recovering from surgery, pregnant or under 18 or if a doctor has advised you not to walk or exercise. The full list is on our safety dos and don'ts page, please read it before you book.
Where are the safety instructions?
Everything you need is on the dos and don'ts page, covering first use, everyday checks, batteries, weather, storage and what to do if something goes wrong. There's a printed leaflet in the case too and a print button on the page if you'd rather keep a paper copy to hand.
If something isn't working
It won't switch on
Give it a full two-hour charge first, then hold the power button for three seconds. If the light still doesn't come on, contact our team and we'll help.
The straps feel loose while walking
Re-fasten the waist strap first and make sure it sits above your hips, then tighten the leg straps a notch. They should feel snug without pinching.
The battery seems to drain quickly
Higher assist levels use more power. Try a lower setting for everyday walking and charge fully overnight. If it still drops fast, get in touch and we'll check it.
