…it stops working?
Every hire includes service cover. If the unit develops a fault, we replace it free of charge.
…it rains?
Light rain is fine: the unit is rated IP54. Heavy rain, hosing and immersion are not and it must never go under water.
…I post it back late?
If it is not returned by your end date, a continuing hire charge of £199 for every 3 days (or part of 3 days) is taken from your card on file. It stops at £1,500 in total but you still have to return it.
…I need it for longer?
Ask us before your end date and we will extend the hire if a unit is free.
…I change my mind?
Your statutory rights let you cancel an online or phone booking within 14 days of the contract being made, though you may pay for any hire already supplied. Otherwise the full hire price applies once we have accepted your order, unless it is our fault.

How does the rental work?
Choose a 3, 7 or 14-day rental at checkout and pay for that period upfront, from £199. We ship it to you. When your rental ends, you post it back with the prepaid label and bag we provide. Your hire is for a fixed period: post it back by your return-by date and there is nothing more to pay. If it is not returned by then, a continuing hire charge of £199 for every 3 days (or part of 3 days) that it is late is taken automatically from your card on file. It stops once £1,500 has been charged in total but you still have to return it. It does not buy extra hire time.
Is it safe? Will it pull me along?
No. It doesn't move you. It assists the movement you're already making, only when you move. You stay in control and can turn the assistance down or off at any time. It isn't a balance aid though: if balance is your main concern, talk to your GP first, then to us.
Will it fit me and what do I wear it with?
It fits waists from roughly 28" to 44" and goes on over your normal clothes in about 90 seconds; most people wear it over trousers. No special footwear, no tools.
Do you deliver across the UK?
Yes, across mainland UK, usually within 5–8 working days. Delivery is free on 7 and 14-day rentals; a flat £25 applies to 3-day rentals. Every rental includes a prepaid return label and bag.
Can I take it away with me?
Within the UK, absolutely: it folds into a daypack. Going abroad? Ask us before you book: airline battery rules vary and we'll tell you honestly whether your trip is a good fit.
Are you really the only company that rents these?
As far as we know, yes. We haven't found another UK service that rents walking exoskeletons rather than selling them; if you find one, tell us. Either way, renting here means UK support, full service cover and prepaid returns.
About these figures
- Less effort: up to 30%, measured by the manufacturer as the body's energy use for a 90kg adult walking a slope steeper than 15° and independently tested by TÜV Rheinland. More leg strength: up to 40%, as stated by the manufacturer. Range: up to 17.5km (11 miles) per charge, measured by the manufacturer at 3km/h with 7Nm of assistance. Fitting time: under 90 seconds once you are used to it. All are test-condition figures; hills, pace, body weight, cold weather and higher assistance levels change them.
